I suspect that what it basically involves is an attempt by the Admin to squelch investigations of all the major repug scandals (and they are pretty major), including voting hijinks... forever! But even so, the question remains, because there are so many other things that are equally if not even more horrendous.

And I would suggest the answer is not about the ISSUE, but the TIMING. The Libby trial had just ended with Libby's conviction and on-the-record revelations of how this maladministration really works. That was the tipping point. And with a (still quite new) Democratic Congress, particularly the House, just waiting for a chance to nail these bastards -- and with a bulldog like Waxman -- bingo! It could have been something else, but it was this. With these clowns, if you miss one scandal, don't worry, there'll be another one along in a couple of minutes.priscianus jrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07466057971073067882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5194776.post-9771443274478952562007-03-18T13:13:00.000+11:002007-03-18T13:13:00.000+11:00option d: all of the aboveoption d: all of the abovelukeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13280906371216516750noreply@blogger.com
