the matrix is being reloaded this week - apart from the inevitable philosophical and religious musings, i wonder if the link will be made between the movie and the current bifurcated world view, with we the sheeple living our lives, unaware of the movements of the cabal, apart from the occasional glitches that we are left striving to comprehend. (hint: the name 'neo' is a red herring)

by the way, what was that whole jayson blair thing about in the nytimes? i cant see a logic or an agenda or anything - surely he isnt plain stupid, or lazy? the fabrications added something to his stories, but not much, why wouldnt he make those phone calls on such an enormus story? its not like its that hard - and uve gotta figure that the people 'interviewed' or plagiarised would read the article and notice, and maybe care enough to report it (i dont think he actually made up people, which might have ben smarter...) looks like 'he wanted to get caught' but that doesnt resonate too well with me... he didnt seem to be trying to fleece the expense reports

i dont know what to think about him - maybe a drug problem and he kept finding himself in a bender and missing his plane? ie it may have been ad hoc, rather than systematic, and then trying to backfill 'proving' he was there by using qoutes - but that doesnt fully explain why he didnt just get on the phone... and if it was a drug thing, you'd at least expect him to get his expenses 'reimbursed' - cos money is pretty important if u are doing lots of drugs - especially on a journos salary

who knows...
