abc are still talking about a 5sec delay for the oscars - itll be interesting to see if that doesnt get stretched to the 5 or seven *minutes* or woteva the grammy's used. (and i wonder about 'ABC has said it will not bleep out political speeches'.) my best guess is that they are more likely to use the 5 min delay. the invitations are probably being rewritten today announcing the new start time of 5 mins earlier...

of course, if the oscars use only the 5sec delay, then it just shows how stupid the grammy decision was - highlighting how arbitrary and dangerous kneejerk reactions are - which mite have some relevance in the gay marriage constitution amendment debate...
