U.S. officials have discounted a statement by 12 insurgent groups that claimed al-Zarqawi was killed by American bombing last year. But in Washington, a military official said he couldn't be sure the Jordanian is alive.

''There is no direct evidence whether he is alive or dead at this point, that we have,'' Brig. Gen. David Rodriguez, deputy director of operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told a Pentagon news conference.

On a trip to Iraq last month, Abizaid told many U.S. commanders he believed that public reports of large numbers of foreign terrorists entering Iraq were overstated. The commanders on the ground generally agreed with that assessment.

During 1956, Sharon was interviewed by General Ouze Merham, and the quote below is verbatim, not edited by me in any way. The sacred Talmud itself confirms that where Ariel Sharon refers to women as 'Palestinians' or 'Arabs', religious law interprets this to mean all non-Jewish females.
"I don't know something called International Principles. I vow that I'll burn every Palestinian child (that) will be born in this area. The Palestinian woman and child is more dangerous than the man, because the Palestinian childs existence infers that generations will go on, but the man causes limited danger. I vow that if I was just an Israeli civilian and I met a Palestinian I would burn him and I would make him suffer before killing him.
"With one hit I've killed 750 Palestinians (in Rafah in 1956). I wanted to encourage my soldiers by raping Arabic girls as the Palestinian women is a slave for Jews, and we do whatever we want to her and nobody tells us what we shall do but we tell others what they shall do." [Media Monitors]

Following in Jay Garner?s footsteps will be new ?Interim Administrator? Ahmad Chalabi, who was convicted in Jordan in 1992 of 31 charges of embezzlement and misuse of funds while running the Petra Bank, a known Mossad front. Chalabi was sentenced to 22 years imprisonment, but somehow managed to ?escape? from police custody in Amman before he could be transported to prison.
mred - i thought he was tried in absentia?

After the Bush-Rumsfeld-Powell choir launched the catchy new ?Syria is Harboring Weapons of Mass Destruction? jingle on 14 April, Powell gave a speech to the Israeli-Jewish lobby AIPAC [American Israel Public Affairs Committee], confirming that the US will not stop with Iraq:
"Syria can continue direct support for terrorist groups and the dying regime of Saddam Hussein, or it can embark on a different and more hopeful course. Either way, Syria bears the responsibility for its choices -- and for the consequences." [Wild applause and hooting from the audience, largely composed of powerful and well-connected establishment Jews.]
The word ?consequences? has only one meaning in the megalomanic worlds of the US State Department and the Israeli-Jewish lobby. Syria must immediately agree to replace President Bashar al-Assad with Ahmad Chalabi?s younger brother, or be bombed back into the Stone Age.
