1. aaron brown announced the ashcroft terror/ohio/shopping mall thingy yesterday with his eyeys rolling - and asking his journo "is there any real evidence this time???". today abrown is running a segment called "keeping track" where he is looking back at ashcrofts record when he makes announcements. hmm - interesting. brown is sposed to be a gopshill. has the tide turned? surely ashcroft is untouchable...
2. the saddam handover thingy is funny. what are they gonna charge him with? war crimes? torture? and its lovely to see those same dental/lice pix again and again. i cant wait to see some iraqi doctor doing the same to 43. i hope they put him in an orange jumpsuit. im still not entirely convinced that they even have saddam...
3. nice to see those ira terrorist get released - they were apparently training columbian terrorists 3 years ago.
4. cheney is *still* doing the saddam/obl routine. and the halliburton thing is getting stoopider - both the raping in iraq, and the cheny/halli thing, and the nigeria bribing thing
5. gingrich has written a book about lincoln - apparently bush is similar to lincoln and iraq is similar to the civil war. ging was on oreilly who took a specific swipe at wolfy & rummy
6. cnn introduced a bit on a kerry speech calling him the "democratic insurgent"
7. g pointed out with his timbers shivering that fox gave f911 a glowing review. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,122680,00.html
8. xymphoras ww3 overview is worth reading as always - http://xymphora.blogspot.com/2004/06/continuing-triumph-of-neoconservatism.html - its similar to my analysis, except i add the possibility that the things start to completely fall apart cos they dont have enough glue and they simply take over.
9. speaking of murderck, at xmas time i said that it looked like he had a vendetta against both corc-hunter stever irwin and tas governor general (and ex-UN weapons inspector) richard butler. bot have come out in the last week and said that there were vendetta against them by 'huge enemies'
10. screw the supreme court for throwing out the nedow case. "It was politically impossible to strike it down, and legally impossible to uphold it." so now what happens? all we need is someone for responsibility for a kid to bring the same case - and we can banish all this UnderDog rubbish forever!
11. krug opens with "No question: John Ashcroft is the worst attorney general in history." http://www.nytimes.com/2004/06/15/opinion/15KRUG.html
another luvverly day in fearadise.
