Eisner's reason, for publication, is that "it's not in the interest of any major corporation to be dragged into a highly charged partisan political battle." To the degree that statement gives the impression that Disney Corp. is not in the partisan politics business, it's a lie. Disney owns and operates radio stations that feature Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly. Disney's Family Channel carries Pat Robertson's 700 Club. He's the guy whom God spoke to when he wanted the world to know that George W. Bush was going to be re-elected. It's Disney that delivers the message to you.

Eisner is turning down profit! And there's something wrong about that, something very wrong. We have to get a little bit philosophical and historical to explain.
