things are truly getting weirder here by the day :
"A militant Muslim and former Qantas baggage handler was charged yesterday with inciting terrorism through a book and website that allegedly encourage war against non-believers... the first person in Australia to be charged with collecting or making documents likely to facilitate terrorist acts.
"The court also heard that Khazal had links to a person suspected of compiling false passports and "extensive overseas contacts".
"He refers to war and the enemy throughout, and "espouses extremist militant views of killing persons not of the same beliefs," including Australians. The material refers to "enemy nationalities" and "countries of atheism", including Australia."
"The court was told that during a raid of his Lakemba home by the Counter-Terrorism Taskforce on May 6, a computer and documents relating to the compiling of false passports were seized. If convicted, Khazal could be jailed for 15 years.
and
"He said Khazal had been interviewed by authorities between 60 and 70 times since arriving in Australia from Lebanon in 1994 but had never been charged with an offence. Khazal, who was a Qantas baggage handler for 12 years" http://www.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4057,9728412%255E421,00.html
