quick notgannon update - news breaking...

* andersoon cooper trashed notgannon. it still doesnt make any sense to me that notgannon isnt slinking off. amblog reckons that notgannon simply just doesnt get it - which might be true - but we gotta remember that the whitehouse has a real problem on its hands - and i cant imagine that they are letting notgannon make the decisions for himself - ipso, someone is managing these media appearances, and every time pathological notgannon makes another appearance, he gets himself into more trouble by lying and/or contradicting himself, and separately every appearance reminds everyone that there was a gay hooker in the whitehouse - surely all those redvoters get all fag-hating-angry when they seem him in their living rooms. two things are guaranteed a) they cant get ahead of the story by showing notgannon to be a reasonable nice lad b) his media appearances continue to feed the media monster. (meanwhile, the gopusa crew has gone underground and scrubbed their site) (meanwhile, aris 1&2 are both channelling thru E&P exclusively)

* digby reminds us that armstrongwilliams was also sued for being gay http://digbysblog.blogspot.com/2005_02_13_digbysblog_archive.html#110868059649694162

* the other conceivable possibility is that notgannon is a rovian plant - and all this noise is a cover for something else that is going on... unlikely, it seems at the mo, but possible

* heres madsens take on notgannon fwiw - http://www.onlinejournal.com/Media/021805Madsen/021805madsen.html

* "The Leadership Institute Gannon (and Rove) graduated from has an Employment Placement Service/Intern Program which, according to the Institute's solicitation to prospective "students," "open[s] doors for you which would otherwise remain shut."" (insert closet joke) http://nashuaadvocate.blogspot.com/2005/02/jeff-gannon-and-karl-rove-attended.html

* im sure its nothing but i read somewhere that eberle has a "new $225,000 home" (or thereabouts) - i thought he was sposed to be a millionaire or some such... or is texas realestate as cheap as its politics?

* maybe notgannon was in the pressbriefing in the waybackmachine in nov02 http://www.prwatch.org/forum/showthread.php?t=5358
