* E&P: " Tribune Media Services didn't syndicate today's Robert Koehler column about alleged voting irregularities in the 2004 election" LINK
* " Bolting bride Jennifer Wilbanks was chaste away — by her fiancĂ©'s insistence on abstinence, friends of the sex-deprived couple claim... "she told people the fact that she and [husband-to-be John Mason] were not having sex was upsetting," ... Meanwhile, it was revealed yesterday the runaway bride claimed to have been raped during her "kidnapping."... Wilbanks reportedly submitted to a rape exam even though investigators did not request one. She later recanted both the rape and kidnapping claims." LINK
hmmm - so she hadnt been getting laid for five years, and a couple of days before she was 'allowed' to, so ran away cos she wasnt getting any. and then she claimed that she got raped, and wanted to prove it, but then recanted. ie - she fucked someone else.

* "The reality, of course, is that Goodman's brand of reporting is unflaggingly political. She covers a hurricane in Florida the same way she covers an election in Iraq, which is to say, with an eye to unearthing the forgotten victims or hidden handshake behind the story. And, as she herself has said, "I don't really think of it as, there's politics and then there's your life." But while some critics see this approach as advocacy, Goodman would call it just a matter of "going where the silence is."" LINK good story on amy if u are interested
* some arab guy told coulter that he supported arabs - and coulter said that she wants him arrested.

* frank rich: " The Washington press corps' eagerness to facilitate and serve as dress extras in what amounts to an administration promotional video can now be seen as a metaphor for just how much the legitimate press has been co-opted by all manner of fakery in the Bush years... Watching the Washington press not only swoon en masse for Mrs. Bush's show but also sponsor and promote it inevitably recalls its unwitting collaboration in other, far more consequential Bush pageants." LINK
* speaking of bumiller: "White House officials cast Mrs. Bush's performance as an attempt at fun, not a political calculation, although they said the idea came from one of the more shrewd political animals at the White House, President Bush. "Honest, the president just said: 'Why don't you try to do it this time? Let's mix it up a little bit,' " Susan Whitson, the first lady's press secretary, said after the dinner." and "In Mrs. Bush's case, playing off "Desperate Housewives" was a natural, even though Ms. Whitson said that Mrs. Bush had never actually seen the racy ABC hit show."
