these people think its really really bad to create embryos for the purpose of stem cell research. BatShit DeLay calls it "the dismemberment of living, distinct human beings for the purposes of medical experimentation." ie you cant create life to save it.

heres the thing. as we know, something like 80-90% of pregnancies are naturally terminated. if you cant create life to save it, then its probably also true that you cant kill life to create it. we are killing 8 or nine people for every one that makes it out of the womb - apparently we see that as acceptable. if killing zygotes is murder, then its morally unacceptable to have sex without birthcontrol. ever. even for the purpose of having babies. for every new baby, there are another 10 or so people that go straight to hell cos they havent erased the stain of original sin.

its kinda like sophies choice, except with 10 kids.
