57 percent who have a favorable view of evangelical Christians

* apparently jons acknowledged that he'd fucked up the santorum interview. lol. thats so cool. i assumed that he had some sort of deal with ricky - otherwise why would ricky turn up? he was on a hiding to nothing. i did like the ice-cream gag.

* "The Federal Bureau of Investigation is demanding that Naor Gilon, head of the political department at the Israeli embassy in Washington, be interrogated in connection to the Pentagon spy case.
It is possible the FBI will also want to interrogate other Israeli diplomats in connection with Pentagon analyst Lawrence Franklin" (link)

* re plame: "Mr. Pincus first disclosed the July 12, 2003, conversation with an administration official in an Oct. 12, 2003, article in The Washington Post, but did not mention in that article that he himself had been the recipient of the information. He wrote in Nieman Reports that he did not believe the person who spoke to him was committing a criminal act, but only practicing damage control by trying to get him to write about Mr. Wilson." (link)
thats kinda interesting, because karl's position has been that he was trying to *avoid* cooper writing about wilson.

* "The Pew Research Center poll found that... 55 percent now say they have a positive view of Muslim-Americans, roughly equal to the 57 percent who have a favorable view of evangelical Christians." (link)

* will we get the army recruiting numbers on monday? it looks like the target is 6150.
