* heres a first hand account from busdriver2 - there were "more than 20 passengers" on the bus - but "only about three people upstairs". apparently our murderous suicider picked a stupid target.
"Police said they believed no one had been injured in what other witnesses described as a small explosion. There was no visible damage to the bus. The area and shops nearby were quickly evacuated."
other reports mentioned windows being blown out.
"Officers are understood to be taking CCTV footage from the streets around the scene, which is about 500 metres from Liverpool Street station."
ftr - i cant remember ever taking that bus - i used to catch the train to liverpool street and then walk home.
