enough about dead brazilians already!

malagaoth in the comments makes a request:
"OK enough about dead brazilians already! we have wiped out entire towns looking for nonexistant weapons of mass destruction, whats one dead south american with or without WMD. "
thats a good point - but my concern isnt with the dead brazilian, per se, but the anatomy of the cover-up. reverse-engineering the story about the dead brazilian gives us a useful window into how to understand many of the other lies. it was incredible to watch how quickly the brit-plods got ahead of the story (did they plant mark whitby?) - and how they let the falsehoods remain in the public spehere.

the role of the media here was important, again - it was fascinating to see the coverage, for example, of when the family announced that they were told by the police that there was no turnstile-vaulting and no heavy jacket and all that - but the story didnt get any play - it wasnt until a couple of weeks later when the ipcc report was leaked that the story got mass-exposure - even though there wasnt really much new.

we saw similar guilt-by-omission with tony blairs "45 minute" nonsense which he feebly claimed later to know that it referred to battlefield munitions - but let the misunderstanding live in the CW. they know that as long as they can get the first headlines, then the rubes wont catch up with the story.

we probably saw a bunch of similar stories about the bombings on 7/7 and 21/7 - remember the 7/7 bombers were apparently seen together on cctv together at kingscross and then 'crucially' separated and all went off in different direction. is this true? i dont know - they wont release the footage which they continually promised to do. is this a similar modus operandi to the turnstile jumping?

we've seen a thousand other examples - and we'll continue to see a whole bunch more - so its important to understand their game-plan so that we can be ready to pre-empt future examples.

WE're having a little trouble here at The Police Central CCTV Recording Mausoleum, there has been a biot of a jinx on the hard drive and some spoilation of the integrated binary tracking system ...so we seem to have either
1. Lost all the CCTV coverage
2 Destroyerd all the CCTV covergae
3. It's in the mail.

Abnormal service to be resumed Now.
