John Roberts ex-girlfriends

* " Time magazine is reporting today on its Web site that according to its sources "some" White House officials may have learned that CIA officer Valerie Plame was married to former ambassador Joseph Wilson "weeks before his July 6, 2003, Op-Ed piece criticizing the Administration. That prospect increases the chances that White House official Karl Rove and others learned about Plame from within the Administration rather than from media contacts. Rove has told investigators he believes he learned of her directly or indirectly from reporters, according to his lawyer."" (link)

* arianna continues her speculation about judy miller. judy is bad. perhaps thats why her husband went on a cruise while she is in jail. (link)

* back in the regan days, faggy-fag John Roberts "wrote a memo arguing that it was constitutionally acceptable for Congress to strip the Supreme Court of its ability to hear broad classes of civil rights cases." (link)
it seems he doesnt like 'minorities' - such as non-white folk, and women. he doesnt belong to either of those groups. the article doesnt mention whether he favors equal protection of gay guys. its not obvious whether he belongs to that group. i wonder how many of his ex-girlfriends will come to the fore...

* driftglass: "Modern Republicans are to tragedy as diarrhea is to famine; preventable, opportunistic diseases that barely exist in a healthy society, but come on with a vengeance when society is sick. And Santorum is the one of the most virulently transmissable of these human stool samples." (link)

* if you wanted to design a really corrupt state, from the ground up, could you do better than ohio? evolution or intelligent design? for the latest, read this article:
"The still-young Coingate and Votegate scandals have already catapulted the Bush/Rove Pioneer/Ranger Noe family close to the realm of headlines currently reserved for Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame. But Ohio insiders predict much more to come."
and this one: "Over the past 50 years, those sworn to enforce the law and protect children repeatedly have aided and abetted the diocese in covering up sexual abuse by priests, a three-month investigation by The Blade shows."
