we have a saying here in australia - i think its an old reference to old cars that were (relatively) fuel efficient - the saying is "it would run on the smell of an oily rag" - blogging is a lot like that.

the other day i got an email from 'kathy' - who basically just said 'thanks' - the smell of that oily rag will keep me blogging.

thanks kathy. it means a lot.
