the Channel 4 video of dead brazilian is available here (via antagonise)
im curious about the fact that the guy watching the building was 'relieving himself' when dead brazilian left the building - he said "therefore there is no video". it seems odd that an important surveillance operation is contingent upon the entirely predictable idea of nature calling.
im not sure we've heard the last of this story
on a separate note - one thing that ive found incredible in the coverage is that Kratos policy is to fire two shots - but its never mentioned. maybe the fact that a guy was shot at eleven times says all it needs to say - but if we are sposed to feel safe that 'shoot2kill' is handled by professionals - then even if we can excuse all the other mistakes as being 'unfortunate' somehow - the doubtless reality is that people who are being asked to implement the policy demonstrably are not professional.

That Krakos policy observation is interesting. Maybe five of them fired two shots each.
The day they shot de Menezes was the day the hammer dropped on the British public.
The day Ian Blair said "we're sorry, and we're going to shoot more" the fate of the country appeared sealed.
The day the documents were released that prove Ian Blair and almost everyone else lied to cover up the murder of an innocent man is the day the British people were thrown a life-line.
Let's hope this lifeline is seized before it is too late.
antag - i asumme the 5*2 thing was tongue in cheek...
i havent got a clue why they murdered this guy. even the new 'official' explanation doesnt really seem to make any sense...
