hollinger trouble for perle?

* oooh - i somehow missed this last week:
"F. David Radler, 63, of Vancouver, pleaded guilty to one count of fraud in federal court in Chicago. Under a plea bargain, he agreed to cooperate with federal prosecutors and to accept a prison sentence of two years and five months... The charge against Radler would normally have carried a prison sentence of 57 to 71 months. (max 35 years)"
Radler was the publisher of the CST (for Hollinger). Fitzgerald is the prosecutor on the case. Brilliant.

As i mentioned in this post, there is some hope (chance?) that the hollinger case could move over to some of the crimes of the rest of the administration through Richard Perle.

* "Radler said he and co-defendant Mark Kipnis, a former head lawyer for Hollinger International, siphoned millions of dollars out of the company's coffers. Kipnis has pleaded not guilty."

Methinx that the Radler deal will force Kipnis to change his mind as Fitzgerald moves his way up through the criminal organisation. Is Perle sleeping well these days?

As some wag once said, Perle is probably the only person who, upon receiving an indictment from Fitzgerald, would have to ask "which one?"

ive previously noted how good perle is at keeping his name out of the papers - its amazing how many articles about the Radler plea agreement happen to ignore the perle connection - for example, here's the AP..
