* rudepundit is on a roll, as always - go read his last few posts
* david brooks slammed Blinky on Lehrer
* heres the shepsmith/rivera bombshell vid on hannity - watch it.
* heres the kayne west vid that everyone is talking about. ive never heard of him. nbc censores it on the westcoast feed.
* "While no one was looking, in the middle of the disaster in New Orleans, Bush found time Wednesday to bypass the Senate and appoint Alice Fisher as Chief of the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice in a recess appointment.
Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., had blocked the nomination because he wants to talk to an agent who named Fisher in an e-mail about allegedly abusive interrogations at the U.S. military prison camp at Guantanamo." (link)
* "The National Guard today stopped evacuating those trapped in the Superdome in order to move 700 Hyatt Hotel guests and employees who had just arrived to the front of bus lines, letting them board the buses first" (link)
* bill maher on the hurricane - vid here - some snippets:
1) blinky had a plan for nola - unfortunately it was a faith-based plan - get a big boat and 2 of every animal
2) according to blinky, the jury is still out - on weather forecasting
3) if u wanna help the victims of the hurricane, faux news has posted the details on its website - of the RNC
* theres actually footage of blinky's helicopter flying over nola, which can only be taken by another helicopter. as far as i know, they had to close down the airspace so that he could do the flyover. its conceivable that the footage was taken from a 'security' helicopter which was 'required' for protection - but surely this is just a waste of energy for a photoshop for the Inappropriate Sniggerer. at a minimum, they had to stop all the air-based rescues in the city so that he could have his little Operation PhotoOp.
* the other day, i mentioned that id seen this on cnn, but i didnt have the actual quote:
"MCINTYRE: And (the Pentagon) seemed to question the motives of some of our reporters who were out there and hearing these stories from the victims about why they had so much sympathy for the victims, and not as much sympathy for the challenges that the government met in meeting this challenge.
And I have to say thinking about that, it doesn’t really seem all that unusual that you would tend to understand the plight of the victims a little more than the bureaucrats in Washington."
* there is actually a serious "shoot the looter" 'discourse going on. i wish i could revert to my chimphood, or stonehood. Flying Spaghetti Monster, please undo my genetic 'development'.

I like your perspective! I’m an educated female American who feels betrayed by the atrocities going on in our country. Please let the rest of the world know the majority does not support Bush. We do need help! Save us from our imperialist leader before it is to late...
thanks educated female!
yep, we're doing our best to save your country.
