*everyone* is gonna hate blinky. i actually missed the program when it first ran, so its good to get a chance to watch it. its pretty good. one thing that stood out was this from tenets deputy:
"MCLAUGHLIN: I make a habit of never talking about anything that's happened in the Oval Office, particularly while a president is in office. What I would tell you is that I don't think "slam dunk," as it has been described, is the right way to characterize George Tenet's total view of the Iraq WMD program, or the Iraq WMD problem. There was -- I think it was an oversimplification of how he would think about it."ive long believed that the whole "slam dunk" thing was a lie. i cant wait till mclaughlin tells the full story. that will be so sweet.

The so called (slam dunk) has to do with false ground intelligence. The actual case concerned a (posssible emerging threat scenario) of biblical proportions powerful and real enough to convince the necessary people into thinking that war was necessary. The use of this attack scenario was an intentional misleading action carried out by indivuals who have no value for human life.
