* ray mcgovern: " There are perhaps a hundred of my former C.I.A. colleagues who know about the lies; none-not one-has been able to summon the courage to go public." (link)
lets hope some of them finally decide to pile on - now that blinky's ratings are in the thirties. cowards.
* the nydn has an hysterical article about Blinky - here's a sample: "Bush is so dismayed that "the only person escaping blame is the President himself," said a sympathetic official, who delicately termed such self-exoneration "illogical."" (link)
* the newyorker apparently isnt going to put the scowcroft article online - so until the article is is liberated like an iraqi, here is an interview with the journo (altho tristero is correct - the language is spooky)
* rawstory: "Wurmser, on orders from "executives in the office of the vice president," was told to leak (Plame's) name to a specific group of reporters in an effort to muzzle her husband, Wilson," (link)
thats interesting, if true - the intent was to 'muzzle' - not undermine/discredit (altho its not clear how outing a NOC would muzzle someone - outing is kinda binary.)
* "For the record, there were two articles of impeachment against Clinton: One for perjury, one for obstruction of justice. No other charges. Hutchison, like most Senate Republicans voted "guilty" on both of them." (link)
* conyers: "It is quite possible that Patrick Fitzgerald could indict under the Espionage Act" (link)
oooh - talk dirty to me, john.
