* reddhedd: "Seems like our boy Fitz and his investigative team have been very thorough indeed. Bravo. And to all the potential defendants in this matter, you had best cut a deal now -- because the blue light specials will end soon, and full price is a heavy one to pay indeed when a prosecutor is this good at dotting all his i's and crossing all his t's." * judy miller: “(people are) upset about many things. They’re upset about the war in Iraq, about the Bush administration; they want to know whether they were misled into this war. They’re upset about W.M.D. coverage.” (link)
that statement probably isnt very interesting, but it struck me as odd that judy would go on the record (it was an interview with The NY Observer) acknowledging that its possible that people were 'misled' in going to war. surely she knows as much as anyone whether that is true or not - note that she didnt say "people are angry, they think they were misled into the war" - its almost that she knows that we were misled, and the only question is whether everyone will find out.
* in the same piece, judy also says: “I want to discuss The Times’ position in support of a shield law. We have got to get this done this year or I will have a lot of company at the Alexandria Detention Center.”" (link)
thats an odd tense! does she know she's going back to jail?
