professional wingnut Professor Bainbridge

* professional wingnut Professor Bainbridge is disillusioned that the repugs dont take the wingnut bloggers seriously - vis-a-vis some of the dems actually listening to what is known as the 'lefty bloggers'. he posits that the reason is that liberals are much better at being party loyalists than the wingnuts - who are much braver and put their principles before the party. truly.fucking.batshit.insane.

some of the comments are brilliant:
  • "I think (miers) is finished, and the conservative blogs will have had a lot to do with it, just as they lanced Dan Rather."
  • " Conservative blogs could probably earn comparable fear/respect if they seriously pushed extreme politicians. I'm thinking somebody like Alan Keyes."
  • "Rush is becoming a media darling for now by refusing to voice his support for HM."
  • "It is natural for a President with a 40% approval rating to hold a grudge. Popular Presidents love everybody. So grudges be damned."
  • "Anyway, this is a perfect time for the conservative blogosphere to "make nice" with the MSM. Bush bashing has always been in vogue, so why not give it a try. Conservatives get to point out where our President has has not exactly lived up to his conservative ideas (spending, immigration, campaign finance, etc.) and then add that HM is not actually up to snuff. Truly liberating. : ) "
  • "I think a ground swell for Alan Keyes' daughter would be an even bigger wake-up than a ground swell for Keyes himself." WTF??
  • "Santorum is on the ropes. Maybe we sink him a little early."
