I was wrong

* it is patently beyond absurd that the LAT is replacing robert scheer with JoGo - in nov 2005

* oreilly: "And if Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we're not going to do anything about it. We're going to say, look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead." (link)
suzan used to live just under there - i used to hang out there a lot when i first fell in love with sf. (we all know what BullyBilly thinks about coit - he likes to stick a dildo up his ass (not that theres anything wrong with that))

* john edwards does his best richard clarke in a wapo op-ed: "I was wrong." read the rest.

* "Interestingly, the death penalty and illegal immigration -- two of Kilgore's top talking points -- were ranked as the most important voting issues by just 3 percent and 13 percent, respectively, of people questioned." (link)
wow - that immigration number is incredible - this despite FauxNews' best efforts. Virgina's immigration 'problem' might not be as significant as other parts of the country - but apparently sufficient for kilgore to run on it (or perhaps the GOP simply has nothing else to offer)

* i dont think id ever try to convince a 5 year-old why the -ticking-time-bomb- justification for torture is stupid.
