rove indictment soon?

* the nyt has an article about Blinky being firewalled - so far- from traitorgate - theres not much to take away from it, altho it does say:
"And assuming that Mr. Fitzgerald does not indict Mr. Rove in the next few weeks, Mr. Bush has a natural firebreak available to him."
- its not obvious where they get the 'next few weeks' characterisation from - but its great news, to the extent that it is valid. some days i worry whether my bottle of champagne will be vintage before the cork is popped.

and our friend charlie black pops up:
"Mr. Black said the political repercussions from the case were "a fairly temporary phenomenon" that would fade in the next few weeks, giving way to the problems that had been presenting such a tremendous challenge to Mr. Bush before the leak case flared up this fall."
its great to be reminded (by a GOP hack) that blinky's problems are 'tremendous' even without traitorgate
