thnxgiving

btw - here's something that im kinda grateful for on thnxgiving. its springtime here and i got a new baby canary. cure huh? i have a few big aviaries that i keep all the birds in (not the chickens). i took the pic yesterday, but today s/he could already fly so i couldnt pick it up :-(

and btw - those things in the background arent xmas lights - they are actual flowers :-)

oh - and another thing to be thnkful for today - its my nephews 7th bday. i spoke to him - yay! i havent seen him since 2001 since i was last in the uk. for reasons im not quite sure about, i sent him a joint present with another of my brothers - a pair of binoculars. i was talking to neph and he told me - giggling profusely - that his little brother suggested that he look through the binoculars and wave to us here in australia and thank us for the present.

for these reasons we can be thankful - and for kids like my nephs we must continue to fight the evils of war.
