* xymphora has more on the dead brazilian. he firstly points to this story from the independent - and then this analysis. im still as baffled now as i was at the time. nothing in this story makes sense. apologies to those i bored at the time, but the story is fucking weird. go read the independent article - and think about how quickly they had their cover story - a turnstile-jumpin, big-jacket-wearin', wires-protrudin', cornered-rat-lookin' evil-doer.

here's a question. we know that the whole story was made outta cloth, in real time - and it perfectly fit their (false) story, and it perfectly covered their ass. the post-assassination media couldnt have been better for them - even if they'd tried.

seriously, think about that. they had that oft-quoted guy outside the station (mark someone?), ready to spout complete nonsense on the bbc.
