one of the weirdest elements of this barrage of stories about propaganda is that people are surprised. i was particularly surprised to see the reaction to the RollingStone article on Rendon.

ive just seen a great example of it at huffpo:

"...Longtime veteran sources at the congressional offices representing my state of Vermont hadn't heard of John Rendon either."

it's the sound of one penny dropping. the msm should be embarassed (sic) that people are socks-knocked-off-surprised by 'events' such as the R/Stone Rendon article.

many of the big lefty bloggers were amazed, too. people that should really, really know better. people were actually surprised. and some, like the guy from huffpo, had never even heard of rendon. lobbying and propaganda is the main game. its both the reason and the mechanism for every damn thing that happens. thats why i have my bksh fetish.
