wapo versus froomkin

* "The chief executive officer of electronic voting company Diebold who once famously declared that he would "deliver" Ohio for President Bush has resigned effective immediately, RAW STORY has learned." (link)

* i dont know if you're aware of the recent spat between wapo and froomkin - but this was the quote of the day: "Harris and his colleagues in the Post's political division could learn a lot by following Dan Froomkin's lead. They should be flattered that people mistakenly believe he is one of them."

* ha ha ha - ronnie earle is appealing the ruling to drop DeLay's conspiracy case. this will push everything out another month :-) i've gotta agree with earle (to the little extent that i followed the case) - it sure seemed odd that they threw the case out cos of the change in the legislation. (link)

* "Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald will present additional evidence to a grand jury Wednesday morning in the CIA leak case that could result in an indictment being handed up against White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove, sources close to the investigation told RAW STORY." (link)
