i used to spend some noble time hanging out in wingnutopia trying to make sense of it all - but that was a long time ago, and the best i could do was to read weeklystandard and wingnutdaily. they are remarkably similar. in any case, there was some blog awards or something and malkin was one of the highest conservative bloggers in one category or other (i think it was 'best blog').

so then i come across this from mahablog:
