scott horton: delerious

* scott horton is delerious. go straighten him out.

* amygoodman: "In environmental news, British scientists have determined 2005 was the warmest year on record in the Northern Hemisphere and the second warmest year overall since the 1860s when reliable records began. This comes as the Independent of London has published a dire warning from the well-known scientist James Lovelock who believes the world has already passed the point of no return for global warming. Lovelock writes, "Before this century is over, billions of us will die, and the few breeding pairs of people that survive will be in the Arctic where the climate remains tolerable."" (link)
it's a hundred degrees here again today. yuk.

* amy goodman interviewed craig murray - frmr UK ambassador to uzbek.

* raimondo: " In any case, the big news is that bin Laden is offering the West a truce – and if you think that is good news, then think again. For this can only mean he is preparing a new blow against us – and is close to delivering it. Standing just behind this peace offer is an explicit threat, one that he clearly intends to follow through on... The "preparations" he talks about may be just about finished: at least, that is how it seems to me." (link)
