Heckuva & Coleman

* josh:
"If you aren't watching the Michael Brown senate hearings, you just missed a real treat. Sen. Norm Coleman (R), doofus senator from Minnesota, just managed to get his butt kicked by disgraced former FEMA Director Michael Brown.
That's a singular accomplishment.
Coleman tried the standard hearings grandstanding against a disgraced or weakened witness -- a tactic pretty much written into the DNA of every senator and rep. But Brown managed to get in Coleman's face and turn the tables on him.
At the end, Coleman actually used the fact that he had run out of time to run away from the encounter with Brown. I'm not sure I've ever seen that happen before."
wow - i'd have liked to see that. it was one thing seeing galloway stomp all over him - but Heckuva? priceless.
(btw - what ever happened to that latest 'proof' that coleman found re galloway?)

Update - vid here

It really was a treat to watch. Coleman, totally owned by the administration, used his time to hector Brown, but Brown wasn't having any of it. More than once he told Coleman to ask him anything, clearing mocking the fact that Coleman was spending his time as paid scold while the repeatedly stated mission of the hearing was to compile as complete and detailed a record of events surround the Katrina debacle as possible. When Brown repeatedly asserted his readiness to answer any question, Coleman noticed his time was up! What a weasel that guy is . . . -- cs
