i cant wait.
* john byrne has an update on Phase2 - there's nothing particularly new in there that i could see - apparently "three sections of the so-called "Phase II" report are likely to made available to members of the committee after the Senate's Easter recess." yada yada
* "Even so, DeLay would cut an attractive figure in Gucci Gulch. “What would set him apart is his strategic insight,” says Charlie Black, a Republican lobbyist with BKSH & Associates. “He accomplished more in winning votes on the House floor than anyone in the last 20 years.”
So does that mean that Black is planning to keep a desk free for DeLay come 2007? “I doubt if I could afford him,” he says. “But he can come here and work with us anytime he wants.”" (link)
* damien continues teasing that aussie hack-journo on the journo's blog. the latest highlight is 'Mike Feghali' standing up for 'Sibel Edmonds', and 'Michael Ledeen' gives advice to 'Stephen Hadley'.
From: Mike Feghali
Comment: Ms Edmonds was entitled to do her work without harassment. Had she been working in my department she would never have been forced to leave because of 9/11 advocates and I would have brought disciplinary action against those who made her workplace uncomfortable for her. Hopefully her situation has improved.
