colbert at WHCA

* don't miss colbert at WHCA (vid) - the funniest thing was the audience (non) reaction - (and the fact that colbert kept on keepin on)

brave.brave.brave.

I haven't seen it yet but it reminds me of the scene in V for Vendetta where the TV host makes fun of the "great" leader on his show. The next scene shows Gestapo like agents breaking down his door and beating him. Do I think Bush would like to do something like that? Yes I do.

Colbert's recent interview with Kristol was exceptional. He exposed the hell out of him. Kristol could be as delusional as Bush, though more psychologically flexible.

i havent seen 'V for'

the good news is that these guys cant really make colbert or sibel or larisa disappear - they cant afford the bad press.

do not underestimate the swiftness the people in power have. they can make people disappear just like that. but colbert is just a jester, not a real threat. all he knows is what we could know. he is not an insider, and had just power with is performance. not being amused would not be a reason to kill a jester. not anymore, since we're not in medieval times.
