impeach bush coalition

* "Several Republicans argued that whatever the legal status of the spying program, it did not deserve punishment because, unlike Nixon, Mr. Bush had acted in good faith.
"This is apples and oranges," Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican of South Carolina, told Mr. Dean. "Anybody who believes that Richard Nixon was relying on some inherent-authority argument is recreating history."" (link)

* "As tensions increase between the United States and Iran, U.S. intelligence and terrorism experts say they believe Iran would respond to U.S. military strikes on its nuclear sites by deploying its intelligence operatives and Hezbollah teams to carry out terrorist attacks worldwide.
Iran would mount attacks against U.S. targets inside Iraq, where Iranian intelligence agents are already plentiful, predicted these experts. There is also a growing consensus that Iran's agents would target civilians in the United States, Europe and elsewhere, they said." (link)
america will be lucky if the iranians dont pre-emptively pre-empt.

* kleiman: "A jilted fiancee gave prosecutors enough information on Michael Scanlon... Scanlon gave them enough information to get Jack Abramoff... Abramoff gave the prosecutors enough to get, among others, Tony Rudy... Rudy now seems to have given them enough to get Edwin Buckham... Now Buckham has to give them DeLay, or plan to spend a long, long time in prison.
And that's the way it works.
Footnote An exercise for the reader: Whom would DeLay have to give up avoid a long prison term?"

* you'll note the new blogwire-feed thingy over on the right of the page. it's from the Impeach Bush Coalition - the feeds are from AfterDowningStreet.org, Democrats.com, Impeach Bush Coalition, The Bulldog Manifesto, And, yes, I DO take it personally, The Brouhaha, Club Lefty, DemSpeak , On The Left Tip, The Rudicus Report, Wot Is It Good 4
I was informed about the new feed just yesterday, and it'd be kinda rude of me if i didnt publish it...
(incidentally, i was interviewed by rudicus back in august of last year)

The hallmark of the Bush administration is that they act in bad faith.

Congress is a joke. Though, not funny at all.

Censure may not be the right remedy. But Sen. Feingold has taken this course because the Repub. Congress is too corrupt to employ the proper remedy which is impeachment. Of course, someone like Sen. Specter or Sen. Roberts will say there is no indication that Bush is abusing his power...ie..."We know he is a-ok so no investigation is needed. And besides who are we to question this heroic President who is battling the evildoers?"

Sure would be convenient for certain people...who happen to be high ranking members of the Bush administration.

noise - you are correct, unfortunately. cheney wouldnt be happier than if iran hit first. it'd save him the trouble of having to organise a false-flag op.
