9/11 happened on this administration's watch. repeat.

* stirling takes a look into his crystal ball through to jan 2009. it aint pretty.

* brad, as always, has more on the latest evoting meltdown. here he discusses the latest NYT article and here on the latest wsj article (i use the term 'latest' with some irony, in both cases). my question for the day: what are the arrangements for the exit polls in november?

* Pat Leahy was also on lehrer - how bout this for a talking point:
SEN. PATRICK LEAHY (D), Vermont: The 9/11 happened on this administration's watch; they don't want it to happen again, but I don't want it to happen again. No American does.
the dems should add that little snippet to every mention of 911.

* re the red-herring post below, CS in the comments notes that this memo from the Dems in the HPSCI says:
"None of us misses the irony that leaks about the program are coming from the Executive Branch, not us. "
and Don in the comments points to this new Greg Palast article on Choicepoint:
I know you're shocked -- SHOCKED! -- that George Bush is listening in on all your phone calls. Without a warrant. That's nothing. And it's not news.
