"I have always believed part of the October behavior was an effort to make sure Brewster Jennings was thoroughly ruined--by naming the company, by naming Plame's alias Flame. So it was a two-stage leak."who knew?

Finally, from the site Homeland Security Watch, we find a list of the people in U.S. custody that played a much larger role than Moussaoui in the 9/11 attacks. They are:
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the operational mastermind of the plot; Ramzi Bin al-Shibh, a member of the Hamburg cell and the key facilitator of the plot; Mustafa Ahmed al-Hawsawi, a financier of the 9/11 attacks; Ammar al-Baluchi, a travel and financial facilitator for the plot; Walid Muhammad Salih Bin al-Attash, a key deputy to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed; Mohammed Manea Ahmad al-Qahtani, the real “twentieth hijacker” whose entry into the United States was denied at Orlando airport. Strangely, the Bitter Enders seem unconcerned about prosecuting these guys. It seems they’re too busy blogswarming Patrick Kennedy. Gotta keep those priorities straight."

I share calipendence's delight
"Mr. Rove is said to be privately urging Mr. Bense to run -- promising fundraising assistance and the party's full resources, according to senior party officials.
The filing deadline for the party primary is May 12, and Mr. Bense, a popular figure in the state Legislature who is retiring this year, could announce a decision next week.
The national party will continue to support Mrs. Harris "until something happens to make the race different," said Brian Nick, chief spokesman of the Republican National Senatorial Committee."
and Calipendence also writes:
"And when the restaurant reviews in Orange County of California start talking about Hookergate, Cunningham and MZM, etc., you know that we're in for a cool ride! :)"
here's the review:
"You may hate yourself in the morning, but an hour or two getting fat, drunk and happy at Aire is the kind of worldly pleasure that could turn Gandhi into a Republican. Soon you’ll be looking for tax breaks to feed your habit, or even running for office, the better to scoop up those tasty bribes (and Mitchell Wade’s hookers) so you can enjoy whatever the hell it was the magnificent waitstaff put before us—two nights in a row, motherfucker!
Yeah, I went back the very next day. Now mama just needs a sugar daddy. Too bad Duke Cunningham’s stuck in stir."
