make lemming-aide

* Froomkin will be live online tomorrow - submit questions here. My question:
The White House and RNC appears to believe that "If the Dems win a House in November, there will be investigations" is a great GOTV campaign. Given the administration's approval ratings, this message seems more like a Dem GOTV campaign. Any thoughts?
When life gives you lemons, make lemming-aide.

* Bumiller:
"White House officials said they wanted to have confirmation hearings before the Senate Intelligence Committee completed and General Hayden confirmed before Mr. Goss leaves his post on May 26. But Senator Pat Roberts, the Kansas Republican who is chairman of the intelligence committee, said only that he hoped to have the hearings begin before May 26, the last scheduled day of the Congressional session before a weeklong recess after Memorial Day."
ominous.

* from soto:
"On the issues of Iraq and gas prices, the poll shows that the public believes Democrats are doing a better job. For instance, on Iraq, 48% said the Democratic Party is better while only 30% thought the Republican Party is. On keeping gas prices low, the disparity is even more pronounced: 57% say the Democrats perform better, while only 11% say the Republicans do."

It's to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if Roberts cuts Feingold's mic if he asks "upsetting" questions.

Pat Roberts is a scumbag.

My question for Froomkin: Why has Congress refused to do proper oversight on the Bush administration?

Actually, It's to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if Roberts cuts Feingold's mic if he asks questions.

(the answer to your question for froomkin is embeeded in your second sentence)
