great efforts by the 'socceroos' yesterday vs brazil. it's all or nothing in their final game with croatia. if they get a draw, they go through. yay.

france didnt win again. blah.

in other sporting news, an Aussie won the US Open in the golf, and Leyton Hewitt won at Queens - the warm-up to Wimbledon.

and apparently al qaeda wants to kill new yorkers.
