which war zone would you rather be in today?

* apparently, at least i keep hearing, 95% of israelis are in favour of the 'response' - i'd love to see how the question was phrased.

* meanwhile:
"Even though only a quarter of the Israeli public supports it, it looks like Israel will definitely put more troops on the ground in Lebanon."
* there's a site called watchingamerica.com which gives a wrap of global media. for example, here's turkish media discussing coulter, miller and the NYT.

* AP:
"Four U.S. soldiers accused of murdering suspected insurgents during a raid in Iraq said they were under orders to "kill all military age males," according to sworn statements obtained by The Associated Press."
* which war zone would you rather be in today? iraq, afghanistan, gaza, lebanon?
