"I'd like to recommend Teri Gross' Fresh Air today. She juxtaposed the Neocon crazyman Michael Ledeen with the sane Joseph Cirincione to show both sides in the battle over our next war, with Iran. But rather than simply expose Ledeen's nuttiness, the juxtaposition served to show the holes in both the Neocon exhortations and the pragmatists' rationality.* meanwhile, atrios:

Between the two of them, Ledeen and Cirincione almost revealed the truth this entire debate on Iran has been hiding. They're still misreading the situation. Ledeen sees a normal contest for hegemony as a war (though, to be fair, that's what the Cold War was), thereby foreclosing engagement, which would be the most effective way of easing the hegemonic conflict. And Cirincione underestimates the threat of Iran's expanding influence.
But both admitted the big secret, the lie that is being mobilized to bring us to war. It's not the nukes. And never has been."
"Onward to Iran
I don't know how crazy the leaders of Iran are, but I do worry they don't quite understand just how crazy some of the influential people in this country are."

"From Hype To Hysteria: Fox News Selling Preemptive War Against Iran Tomorrow marks the deadline for Iran to comply with U.N. demands to suspend portions of its nuclear program. Fox is using the opportunity to sell another preemptive war. Today Fox has aired multiple segments featuring pundits who claim that a U.S. military attack on Iran is both essential and imminent. Fox anchors repeatedly parrot these arguments."
