Who Killed the Electric Car?

many bloggers are technorati obsessed (not me, if only because it's not very rewarding in my case) - but i did stumble across this:
[snip]

Right after that, I ran into emptywheel, see her userpages at Daily Kos and The Next Hurrah; I think the last time I saw her was at YearlyKos in Las Vegas when we were both on C-SPAN (she seated on the stage as part of panel, me as some audience guy at microphone) at the Valerie Plame panel. Ah small world. (She was going to the Theater to see “Who Killed the Electric Car?”, about which I may have a future post…)

(Also: emptywheel has some seriously obsessed fans, see today’s naughtily-titled stiletto-heel-related post from Down Under at Wot Is It Good 4 (When Doves Cry)!! This is what happens when you become a famous blogger…)

So, there are benefits to walking around instead having a car, after all. Health AND social.

what can i say? ummm. i look forward to the movie review.

AFAIC, fuck technorati and alexa as well--technorati's so off-base w/its shit about my site, it's pathetic--it misses a LOT.

about alexa, my page there says my stats have gone down heavily over the last few months which (according to my own site's stats page) couldn't be further from the truth. however, they could be including all those myspace sites which get millions of hits. who knows? i, for one, don't really care what either of them say.

remember, i'm all for cooperation between like-minded people and totally against competition between same.

rant over. for now. *evil* a-heh, heh, heh. ooopsy, sorry. ;-)

ps, i think it a pity that the stiletto-heeled post about ew's footwear wasn't linked directly but that's just me.

Are those site-rating thingies done by spiders or some such? I have no idea how they come up with what they do, but there is one thing I know for absolute certain, Rimone. Your site is exceptional.

And it isn't just you . . . it IS a pity that the stiletto-heeled post about EW's footwear wasn't linked directly.

you're too kind, LeeB--thank you. my stats page has number of hits, how many pages viewed and the bandwidth used by what they call 'traffic not viewed': Not viewed traffic includes traffic generated by robots, worms, or replies with special HTTP status codes.

they make it very clear the above isn't counted in the actual totals--they only use what they call 'unique visitors' and their counts of hits, pages, bandwidth.
