evoting fraud pron

* there are some days when i wish i had a subscription to the nyt - but then i'm reminded that i'd probably waste most of my time picking apart columns from dbrooks and tfriedman and brain-damaging myself. here's some commentary about bobo's latest. the final sentence:
What is there left to say, except, Come back, William Safire. All is forgiven.
I certainly wouldn't go that far (and i think they were both at the NYT at the same time anyway) - but i appreciate the sentient sentiment. the sad truth is that bobo rehashes his columns verbatim when he is on lehrer - and i'm probably going to put myself through the pain of watching that tomorrow. i hope Shields has his knives sharpened.
