DeWine, de swine

Sibel in our whistleblower interview in July:
"Mike DeWine... he's just incredible.... He's a nutcase - as far as being far-out Right and pro-White House... This guy is a fascist!'
It gives me much pleasure to announce that adnags in the NYT is reporting:
"Senior Republican leaders have concluded that Sen. Mike DeWine, of Ohio, is likely heading for defeat and are moving to reduce financial support for his race and divert party money to other embattled Republican senators, party officials said.

The decision to effectively write off DeWine's seat, after internal Republican polls showed him falling behind his Democratic challenger, Rep. Sherrod Brown, is part of a fluid series of choices by top leaders in both parties as they set the strategic framework of the campaign's final three weeks"

What is going to happen to DeWine is nothing compared to Ken Blackwell in the Governor's race in Ohio. Blackwell is down 30 points!

The interesting thing: while Sibel correctly sees DeWine as a far right-wingers, the right-wing bloggers see him as a mushy moderate.

BTW, we are at Oct. 16, and no October Surprise has yet surfaced.

We know it's coming; any bets as to what the October Surprise will be this year?
