all-sibel-all-the-time

* ok - so i'm still all-sibel-all-the-time at the moment - mostly working on the new blog and trying to do interviews and get traction and begging people to write about this story and call congress and demand hearings and so on - so things are likely to be quietish for another week here. forgive me.

* Blumenthal:
"The subject of Winston Churchill inspired Bush's self-reflection. The president confided to Roberts that he believes he has an advantage over Churchill, a reliable source with access to the conversation told me. He has faith in God, Bush explained, but Churchill, an agnostic, did not. Because he believes in God, it is easier for him to make decisions and stick to them than it was for Churchill. Bush said he doesn't worry, or feel alone, or care if he is unpopular. He has God."
* jeralyn:
"My preliminary estimate: I think the lowest (Libby's) guidelines will be is the 15 to 21 month range and the highest would be the 24 to 33 month range.

Because he was a high level government official and a lawyer who obstructed justice, I would expect the judge to sentence him towards the high end of the applicable sentencing range, particularly if enhancements aren't applied."
