sibel: the blockbuster of the year

From dailykos, on Monday, my diary "Two FBI Whistleblowers Confirm Illegal Wiretapping of Govt Officials, Support Sibel Edmonds Claims" was ranked #2.

From the summary for the day at DKOS "lukery's diary, Two FBI Whistleblowers Confirm Illegal Wiretapping of Govt Officials, Support Sibel Edmonds Claims was a bombshell today dropped in the middle of an already busy day. Much discussion ensued on what may be happening in the coming days. This could be the blockbuster of the year."

On Tuesday, my diary, "Sibel Edmonds needs your help. 30 Groups calling for new hearings" was ranked #6

And in case you missed it, I was interviewed by Liberty Coalition Radio on Wednesday. I have had 'zero' feedback on this - which I took to understand that the interview was terrible. I just listened to it again, and it isn't terrible. so there.

I'll be doing an hour(ish)-long interview on Mike Levine's Expert Witness Radio at something like 4am (my time) tomorrow on Sibel's case. I think it's probably a safe bet that if i start saying 'coffee' at random moments in the interview, you can probably safely substitute "Sibel is a hero" or "Richard Perle should be in jail" - you might have to use your judgement, and the context, to give you some guidance about which phrase to substitute. I think it's pre-recorded - so I don't think you'll be able to listen live - but I'll letchya know when it's available.

meanwhile, you can download part 2 of their interview with Peter Lance (the guy who spurned me!) here.

oh - speaking of, have i been promising you the Barlow interview for EVER? yes i have. for better, someone else is going to actually publish it, and it's in their hands. there'll be more exposure, and better editing - but the timing is out of my hands. hopefully: soon.

Dude, the LC interview was great. I didn't have a chance to listen to it until now. You are becoming an old pro at this.

Promise you won't forget your faithful readers on this blog when you become famous?

Luke, if I remember correctly, it wasn't long ago that Markos himself said poo-poo to Sibel. How fitting that his site's readers recognize it as a gigantic story now. If more people cared as you do, we wouldn't be in the hell of a fix we are with all these nutty crime figures.

uranus - if we can keep the kossacks interested this coming week, then we'll have done a good job.

markos did indeed get involved in one of those posts. hopefully he'll write a pro-sibel piece this week :-)

Markos is great at networking with people, and apparently keen about the technical nuts and bolts of computer hardware and software. That's made his site a monster of the genre. But, he isn't always the best judge of a good news story, saving his acclaim for big-name contributors or waiting to see what attracts people's interest. In a way, that's good: he wants to see the proof. With Sibel's story, the evidence isn't up front because it's about criminals working hard to keep the facts quiet, and you aren't running for president or in Congress. So, it's a nice learning experience for Markos, particularly when the lid comes off the story. You deserve credit for sticking with it.
