1) it's funny that an engineer would mistake iron for steel, and
2) nearly all engineers (except 'osama', and in retrospect) would have expected the buildings to withstand the hits from the planes. they were designed to so.
3) 'osama' specifically claims that he thought the FIRES would cause the collapse
Prof Steven Jones discusses building collapses in detail:
"no steel-beam high-rise had ever before (or since) completely collapsed due to fires... What a surprise, then, for such an occurrence in downtown Manhattan— three skyscrapers completely collapsed on the same day, September 11, 2001, presumably without the use of explosives."Most people seem to agree that this OBL tape is a fake (wikipedia, damien)- fakes are very useful of course because they tell us a lot about the motivations of the lies that are being propogated.
Sibel knows who sent the blueprints and building composites. And she knows who they were sent it. I wish I knew. Hopefully Paul can get permision to discuss what he knows.

None of the transcripts of the various tapes put out by OBL subsequent to the fake video (12-13 Dec) appear to contain any references to the buildings, or even any admissions of complicity by OBL (link). Rather, they show only moral approval.
indeed. in fact obl specifically denied that he was involved immediately after the attacks
