kuch (93%) sharpton (83%) kerry (75%) bush (1%)

cos i dont trust anything these days, these things are always dangerous... its dangerous cos its apparently popular - everyone is fwding it to each other - yet theres not a critical question amongst the emails.

its not obvious:
a) how the calculations are made
b) whether time warner can be trusted
c) that the agenda is independent - questionaires can be biased by how they frame the questions/answers

as an example, the 'gay' question:
How do you feel about issues related to gay rights?

Constitutional Gay Marriage Ban

Equal Rights for Civil Unions

Allow Gays to Openly Serve in the Military

theres not even a reference to whether u support samesex marriage. another question asks whether the 'economy/environment' *is* (they are bracketed) important to u - how is that answerable? and how can that answer point to one canditate?

if u wanna look inside the blackbox, the 'how this works' link leads to
"How This Works
Take a stand on some of the major issues facing our nation.

You don't have to answer every question - you can just answer the ones that are important to you. The sum of your answers will determine the best candidate for you.

The questions were devised in consulation with TIME and the answers were compiled by TIME and the candidates' campaigns. "

thanks for the insight, guys.

i wish i didnt have to be so cynical - but i guess thats my role these days. unfortunately, everywhere i look i see corruption of one form or another - and a 'test' like this can be such a powerful tool (especially when the 'results' are amplified on the front page of time.com or wotever) - its easier than stealing an election - remember, all they have to do is weight the questions, or not include a few answers in the questino set, and they can easily shift a bunch of swing voters...
