heres another propagenda-type question
"Education
What do you think about the following education initiatives?
No Child Left Behind Act. oppose/favour?"

my guess is that most people dont know the details of the Act, but most people probably favour the principle of Leaving No Children Behind (as opposed to the Act), so they inadvertently give a vote to gwb.

this is a simple trick, and it can even be inadvertent, but the bias is still there. stephen jay goulds Mismeasure of Man is a classic study of how this occurs.

separate to the polling, theres a separate question which is that gwb hasnt funded the Act, and is in fact leaving many children behind. so even if u answer the question properly that u like the Act, u may be grumpy at gwb for not fulfilling the obligations of the Act and yet your vote gets tipped toward gwb.
