short live the king

* " Next, according to Matt Drudge, may be a move by the Bush team to oust CBS's respected newsman Bob Schieffer from his announced appointment as moderator of the October 13 Bush-Kerry debate" these guys are so sophisticated. can u imagine the dems thinking even one step ahead? either the nazigops get an even softer moderator, or worst case, they can undermine the results post-debate. http://www.villagevoice.com/issues/0438/mondo6.php

* was the catstevens thing a rove spesh? it seems probable in this bifurcated apparent vs reality world. if it wasnt a rove spesh, it prolly wouldnt be on every media report. if it wasnt a rove spesh, why didnt they intercept preflight? do we really live in a world where this sort of shit happens? luckily it happened just as Rather acquiesced. like ive said previosuly - what else can we expect from rove? these people leave *nothing* to chance. this prolly looks like a 2 day story. hopefully we'll get another rovespesh just in time for the weekend. id prolly trade a dinner with jesus or mlk or ghandi for a dinner with krove at the mo.

at a deeper level than the absolute whoreness we mite expect to see just '2 months before an election' - the larger issue is their choice of targets. its almost as though they wanna tear down everything that anyone ever wanted to believe in, except the absolute faith in the president (cf britney). lemme repeat 'they wanna tear down everything that anyone ever wanted to believe in' - kobe in sport, jacko in music, martha in home thingys, bobbyfischer in terms of brains, jfk in war and in antiwar, catstevens in family (and peace and music and other things) - who hasnt been touched by catstephens' familial musings? stop for a minute and consider the rove targets... the strategy seems to be to destroy any domain that might be precious to people/peoplesegments. except bizness. its almost as tho the point isnt merely to discredit individuals, but to minimise voting. thats how they think. they think 'win'. they are good at it.

and if u convert to muslimism, u are farked. thats almost the meta-message/threat. i cant imagine that leakage to muslimism is a significant numerical problem, but the campaign impact is apparently enormous. catstevens is one example, brian mayberry (name?) whose fingerprints were somehow found in madrid is another example. thats the metanarrative - converts will be crucified (sic) - or more accurately, its prolly just the pointer to the meta-narrative - converts will be crucified (sic).

of all the evil things the jihadmin is doing, somehow the ability/value/need to demolish core values like those embodied by catstevens role/position in the zeitgeist is disturbing. and it fits a pattern. and it points to krove being way more dangerous than it mite seem at first glance. the consensus wisdom has been that krove is purely political/tactical - imagine if he was also thinking about the long term, and had an ideological perspective. if he is involved in catstephens and bobbyfischer and others, then its difficult to imagine that these things are designed to have an impact in *this* election cycle - if rovian/scaifian tactics have a multi-period game, then we are all in soooo much trouble.

to clarify, if rove is pulling out some obscure catstephens bollox - then he isnt thinking about the next 6 weeks. somehow he is laying the carpet for some future story.
