antidisenfranchisementarianism

* another thing about the 'no evidence of an attack' stories is that they simult'y point to postelection attacks "If Nov. 2 comes and goes and nothing happens, I am not going to sleep any better at night" said one senior administration official." - i dont understand this logic at all - its quite odd how many officials bring it up. as far as i can tell, alq sh/wouldnt give a shit who is pres. america is america. furthermore, the idea that a post-election/pre-inauguration attack would achieve anything, or is even symbolic, seems patently absurd to me. but i cant follow the logic - if jonk wins and theres a pre-inauguration attack then what? and if 43 wins and theres a pre-inauguration attack then what? i dont get it. the only scenario that seems to fit is if the egadmin attack after a jonk win and then steal the presidency. but they wont be able to sell it to the people as far as i can see - whats the logic?

* gerry falwell on blitzer - lets chase the terrorists and blow them all up in the name of the lord.

* TIme survey - 50% of people think the next president will be illegitimate. lol

* TIme survey - 60% of people think the courts may decide the election. 50% of people trust the courts to do that properly.

* "The idea of the United States as an ironfisted theocracy is terrifying, and it should give everyone pause. This time, it's not about policy. This time, for the first time, it's about the nature of American government. We all have reason to be very, very afraid." http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/commentary/la-op-gabler24oct24,1,4115271.story?coll=la-news-comment-opinions
